Facilities
Changchun American International School is located on a 30,000-square-meter, landscaped green and lush campus. The two buildings total more than 22,000m2 and are well equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. In 2008, CAIS won the silver award for the institution of the Ring - iC@ward international interior design.

Technology
The CAIS Technology Center reflects our dedication to providing students with access to emerging technologies within safe, structured, and purposeful learning environments. Each of its four themed rooms is designed to support unique modes of learning
Multimedia Room
A multimedia studio with green screen, professional cameras, and AR/VR technology for digital storytelling and communication.
Robotics Room
A robotics and VR lab, encouraging design thinking, coding, and hands-on problem-solving.
Legacy Room
A dynamic presentation space featuring large-scale screens and interactive displays, showcasing CAIS’s history while supporting focused collaboration.
Maker Space Room
A makerspace with 3D printers, laser cutters, and design tools, encouraging creativity and prototyping.
Two designated purpose-built visual Arts classrooms, two Design classrooms, three music classrooms, four music practice rooms, two dance studios, a drama classroom with a mini-auditorium, a Culinary Arts room and a larger performance stage.
Indoor Sports & Activities Facilities
Facilities include two indoor sports halls, three indoor games and activities rooms, a climbing wall, a fitness room and two dance studios.
Outdoor Sports & Activities Facilities
A large small children's play area (slides, climbing frame, swings etc), swimming Pool/Skating Rink, Volleyball/Basketball Courts, golfing range, two soccer pitches.
Library
The school library is fully staffed by one full-time local librarian and one part-time expatriate librarian. The library provides state-of-the-art facilities including a wide array of learning resources.
Off-Campus Sports & Activities Facilities
CAIS also enjoys easy year-round access to a wide range of nearby facilities that the student attend by minibus including:
Home Court Sports (主场运动公园 ) a large multi- court basketball complex with six courts across the road from CAIS (5 minutes door-to-door)
Futeng gym (富腾天下城) a sports complex three blocks away with an indoor swimming pool, three badminton courts and a fitness centre (8 minutes door-to-door)
Ao Ke Badminton (奥克羽毛球 ) a multi court badminton centre (15 minute journey door-to-door)
Nanling Stadium (南岭体育场) an indoor artificial turf soccer pitch (15 minutes door-to-door)
Yatai FC Stadium Outdoor artificial turf soccer pitches at the Yatai FC stadium (15 minutes door-to-door)
