Changchun American International School welcomes student applicants from grades Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12.

The school welcomes parents and students who share the aims and values expressed in the school's mission and philosophy, and who believe in development of excellence and character in an environment where values and a caring culture prevail.

To begin the application process, complete the application form and return this to the school by FAX or by e-mail enclosure. When the school has received the application, you will be contacted by e-mail or by phone.

Interview

If you and your child are residents of Changchun, or are visiting, a campus tour and interview can be arranged in order to assess needs and placement of your child, and to familiarize you and your child with the school's personnel and facilities.

At the time you determine you would like your child to attend Changchun American International School, you are required to submit the following documents:

• Application and Current Emergency Contact Information
• Immunization Record
• Health Record and Listing of any physical/learning related problems, allergies, etc.
• Transcripts from Previous Schools
• Translations of Transcripts if transcripts are not in English

Please forward these forms to the Admissions Department when you finish it.

Testing

Students whose mother tongue is not English may be required to take a U.S.-standardized English Proficiency Test to determine need for ESL and sheltered classes.
